So, how does RentAcross work?

Well, once you rent your camera with us, we activate your camera which means that when customers near you search for cameras on rent your camera starts showing up in their feed and they can rent your camera. Once customers click to rent your camera, you are notified through an email and SMS notification. You can now approve or reject the rental request. In case you approve the request, our delivery person comes and picks up your camera and deliver it to the customer.

How does finance work?

We charge a 25% rental fee. Apart from that, we deduct 5% as insurance. We credit the amount within one day of the rental. Should you chose to feature your products on the home page, we charge an additional 10% fee in that case. 

How do I know if I have rented my camera for the right price?

We verify your product once you have decided to rent it with us. We notify you if we feel that the price is on the higher or lower side of the spectrum. Generally, products on the higher side of the price spectrum get fewer conversions.

How does RentAcross ensure security of my Camera?

All our customers are dually verified for both address and identity. We verify customers only with original documents. On top of that we also visit the customer to verify the address of residence and other details. We do a thorough background check of all the users who are renting products with us through various social media platforms as well as public govt. agencies. We also share a quick on handling the camera so that first timers don't make any handling errors like leaving the camera lens open. We take all the efforts to make sure your camera goes in the right hands!

How does RentAcross handle damages if any?

We cover any damages done to the product during the rental period. If there are major damages or breakages, we offer insurance at minimal fee of 5% of the rental fee that will cover these damages as well. 

What if the customer doesn't return my camera in time?

In case of any delays we extend the rental. For instance, if there is an extension of 2 days you will get the additional rental for 2 days.
